Training program
On Day 1 and Day 2, the participants will be taught modules in social entrepreneurship, innovation strategy and methods, financial practices, apiculture, agriculture, principles of management, environmental education, legislation in apiculture and business, and digital technology. The educational materials will include theory, case studies, exercises, short assignments, and exams. The partners will also use digital learning software, including teleconferencing software, in training sessions (hybrid learning).
On Day 3, the participants will attend a workshop to develop business ideas, create business plans and feasibility studies in apiculture, identify social needs in the communities, get advice from financial and agricultural experts, share knowledge, present economic activities for the development of social businesses in rural communities, and compare case studies with their future social businesses. The workshops will be designed as an open activity where participants, trainers, advisors, and stakeholders (businesses, not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, government agencies, and citizens) share thoughts, exchange ideas and knowledge, and create an innovative learning environment. An open activity will provide space and time for participants to interact.
