Dissemination and Networking Activities in Cyprus

These dissemination activities were organized in Cyprus to inform and support women, young people, unemployed people, people with disabilities, migrants, people recently released from prison, and stakeholders (businesses, not-for-profit organizations, academic institutions, government agencies, and citizens) about the benefits of social businesses in the local communities. Dr. Georgios Afxentiou presented the project, the project outcomes, and the value of creating and sustaining social businesses to participants and stakeholders.

He encouraged the development of networks of individuals and organizations with common interests in business, apiculture, digital technology, the environment, and society. Additionally, he advised and supported the participants to collaborate, mutually develop and finance new social businesses, and exchange good business practices to benefit people in need, such as refugees from wars, the unemployed, people with disabilities, and people recently released from prison.
